From Our Own Correspondent. Fareweil Party. A largely-attended farewell party, a fitting tribute to tho popularity of Miss Ethel Walls who Is leaving Fox ton at an , arly date, was held on Wednesday evening. Miss Walls, daughter of Mr and Airs G. F. Walls, of Avenue road, has received notification of her appointment ta the nursing staff of tho Palmerston North Hospital, and over one hundred relatives, and friends from Foxton, Palmerston North, Shannon and Kevin gathered to bid her tiu revoir. Dancing was enjoyed until a lato hour. The winners of tho lucky Gay Gordons were Miss .T. Barry and Mr G. Small. Ah exhibition of tap dancing was given by Mr Ted Short. The
presentation of a bedroom clock was made io Miss Walls as a token of affection from those present, and good wishes were extended to her for her future happiness and success.
