PAHIATUA AND MARIMA SOCIETIES Mr. D. O. L. Howden will act as judge of the debate between the Pahiatua and Maxima debating societies ou the question “That the unoccupied territories of Northern Australia be thrown open to the Asiatics in restricted numbers. ” Marima will take the affirmative side and will be represented by Messrs E. O’Brien, H. C. Rasmuses and P. J. Mathews. The Pahiatua society’s representatives are Messrs I>. B. Halter. W. A. Carthew and JSefton, Walsh. 1
