All sorts of flotsam and jetsam float around the house, but what annoys them most is a goose under the house that keeps the family awake at night. The family next door have numerous eels swimming over the front lawn, and a small boy spends his time fishing for them off the verandah. Residents complain that the contents of the Ellerslie septic tank will deposit • film on the ground when the flood waters subside.
