At the Moonee Valley races Desert Chief ran third to Aitchengee and King Geo in tho Glen Orla Handicap. Midacre was unplaced in the A. V. Hiskens Steeplechase. LEADING JOCCKEYS AND TRAINERS Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m. SYDNEY, July 31. The leading jockeys for the yea! ended yesterday are listed as follows: Bartle, 92 wins, three dead heats, McKenamin, 91; W. Cook, 74, six dead heats; D. Munro, 61, four dead heats; McCarten, 50, three dead heats; O’Sullivan, 50, two dead heats. Munro had the best percentage. Heading tho trainers’list is J. King with 34 firsts and one dead heat, followed by F. Cush, 34; C. Russell, 26, one dead heat; J. Noud, 25; J. T. Jamieson, 23; G. Price, 20, one dead heat.
