Members of Women’* Institutes in the Bush-Wairarapa Federation were very glud to learn from Mrs. G. H. Macky, a vice-president, at the annual drama festival in Woodville on Saturday night that their much-loved president, Mrs. J. D. C. Crewe, had that day shown a little improvement in her condition since the serious motor accident suffered about a fortnight ago. “Bankruptcy official dragged awa>’ from telephone during a fracas iu store and threatened with lynching,” runs an item in a Mexican paper. After which they tidied up the store and hung up the receiver.
