Bring and Buy Stall

EFFORT FOR MISSIONS PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN’S UNION AFTERNOON A “bring and buy” stall, organised by the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union, was held in St. David’s Church yesterday afternoon. Rev. J. H. Boyd welcomed the visitors, there being a good attendance of ladies. A competition arranged by Miss J. Kirkpatrick created much ..musement, this being won by Miss Milner. Excellent business was done by the stallholders, Aliss Beattie and Mrs. Kirkpatiuek, and the funds of the organisation will be considerably augmented. Afternoon tea was served and Mr. Boyd, on behalf of vhe Church, returned thanks to all heipors. Credit is due to the energetic secretary, Mrs. Fraser, for the success of the afternoon.
