Golf in Pahiatua

CLUB COMPETITION RESULTS The result of the medal round held on June 18 is as follows:—A division, J. Shekleton, nett 75; B division, W. Cobb, nett 70. The four-ball bogey held last Saturday was won by C. M. Wright and A. W. Bissett with a good card of four up, A. Donald and K. Eglinton being three up. A medal round for tho Byrne Cup will be played next Saturday, the match with the ladies having been postponed. On Sunday next an inter-club match will be played with the Eketahuna Club, the game at Pahiatua being for the Uregorie Cup. The following players have been selected to represent Pahiatua:— At Pahiatua: J. Richardson, J. G. Swainson, A. D. Donald, F. V. Johaiison, D. Howdcn, W. 11. Watson, C. M. Wright, N. Judd, A. J. Morgan, B. Donald, K. Eglinton and N. Rawson. At Ekotahuna: J. Shekleton, A. Bisset, R. Caruthers, P. R. Boagey, W. Darloy, L. T. Russell, L. D. Lovelock, A. Cartliew, P. J. Lloyd, R. Mills, L. Truscott, W. Cobb. Players who will not be available are requested to notify the club captain promptly. Handicap reductions: W. Cobb, from 34-25 to 33-25. LADIES' GOLF NO DRAW FOR SATURDAY Owing to the point-to-point steeple chase meeting held on Saturday, thero will bo no draw. Anyone may choose their own partners and play a stroko competition on Friday or Saturday; C grade the same.
