Wanganui Education Board Nominations

CONTEST FOR PALMERSTON NORTH SEAT Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. Nominations for the vacant seats on tho Wanganui Education Board dosed to-night and with the exception of tho Palmerston North urban area no elections will be necessary. In this case tho sitting member has been opposed and an election will be held on July 20. Mr. R. Dukeson, the sitting member tor the north ward, did not seek reolection and Air. L. A. Bailey, of Alangaweka, was nominated in his stead. In other areas the sitting members have been nominated for a further term. The nominations are as follows: Wanganui urban area: Mr. N. Annabell. Palmerston North urban area; Afessrs. Al. U. Oram and W. G. Black. West ward. Air. E. F. Hemingway (Pateu). South ward: Mr. 1. W. Mudford (Foxton). North ward: Air. L. A. Bailey (Mangaweka).
