DIRECTORS OF PRODUCTION AND RESEARCH (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 27. Reorganisation at the Air Ministry ■with a view to unifying control and responsibility for the development and
production Of aircraft was announced in the Commons by the Air Secretary (Sir Kingsley Wood) who said the present Air Member for Research atid Development, Air Marshal Sir Wilfred Freeman, would iu future be responsible for production as well as development and research. To enable him to carry out his increased duties ho will have the assistance of a Director-General of Production and a Directof-Geueral of Research and Development. Air. E. J. H. Lemon, vice-president of the London, Midland
and Scottish Railway, Will be DirectorGeneral of production assisted by a staff with engineering technical qualifications and will become a member of the Air Council. Air Vice-Marshal A. W.
