Brisk Debating

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 2S. The Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, anticipates a session of brisk debating, the atmosphere of the country being as lively in a political sense as before an election. The discussions would be about the Government’s legislation and administration, not what the Nationalists did when in power or proposed to do, though that would come later. "We shall hear about the benefits of the Labour legislation, but the Opposition wiU tell a different story.’* Speaking about the election, he srfU: “We are well advanced in the selection of candidates, and so far there seems very little risk of vote-splitting. It is encouraging to see how the anti-Labour view in the country is fikejy to be well concentrated on the National candidates.”
