STRAW SPLITTING (Tf the Editor.) Sir, —I have just ecu your leader of June 18 in which you deal with “Veracity’s” accusation. You mention the “N.Z. Labour Party” and “Parliamentary Labour Party”—referring to the Socialist objective of tho first Under its constitution tho members ot the “N.Z. Labour Party” who stand for Parliament and who may become members of the “Parliamentary Labour Party, , ’ are pledged to carry out the Socialistic objective and no othe.\ Every ono elected to support Ihe present Government as official member of that party is pledged to Socialism. “The Standard” is my authority for this statement—in addition to the party’s constitution.—l am, etc..
