BOGEY COMPETITION AT HOKOWHITU COURSE WAS HEAVY The competition at Hokowrliitu yesterday was a bogey handicap for points for Mrs. J. P. Inues’s trophies. Tho course was heavy and the conditions wero difficult for good scoring. The winner in the .first division was Aliss M. Illston, who, with an 86 off tho stick, finished only two down. Miss tllston was not taking advantage of tho placing rule and her round, on the day, was a really good one. Tho leading cards were as under:— First division (handicaps .17 and under): Aliss AT.
