Orgias expressing tho committee’s appreciation of her generosity. Supper v.as served by the ladies, after which a short dance was held, spirited mufiio being contributed by Mrs A. Blixt mid Mr R. Core. patches of native bush in tlie valley, located on the property to Mr L. .1. Mariana. has boon cleared. The axe and flamethrower, their worn Completed, leave to the world a bare and desolate region where, only a short time ago, luxuriant foliage gladdened the eye and feathered songsters filled the air with their melodies.
