REFERENDUM TO BE TAKEN After debating the possibility of reticulating the town of Pahiatua, and bringing the water from the Mangahao. which tho borough consulting engineer estimated would cost £19,000, the Pahiatua Borough Council decided last night to give the ratepayers an opportunity of voting for or against the proposal. The voting was: For the proposal, Crs. Brown, Carthew, Judd, Ansell, Watson, Greaves and Murphy; against, the Mayor (Air. S. K. Siddells) and Crs. Watts and Hodd.
