The Geneva correspondent of the News-Chronicle says that the Turkish Government has informed the League of Nations that it will not recognise the authority of tho commission entrusted with the supervision of the election in the Sanjak of Alexandretta, and also that she refuses to pay her share of the commission's expenses. Lack of funds may force the commission to leave. Attempts are being made to mollify tho Turks.
