Saturday’s Hockey
Results of women's hockey games played at Feilding on Saturday are:— Kia Kaha 1, Hinekoa 0. Kia Kaha 1, Huia 0 Huia 1, Hinekoa 0. The position in this competition for the Bramwell Rose Bowl is: Kia Kaha 4 points, Huia 2 points. For the men's games the going was heavy and play was consequently of a vory low standard. Results:— Colyton 3, Wanderers 2. Old Boys 6, Pirates 2, Ivia Ora 5, Rovers 4. The following players will comprise the first selection for training in connection with the forthcoming representative matches, and they are requested to attend the first practice to-night at 7 p.m.: —T. Borich, W. Hocken, S. Hocken, R. Sunston, A. Packer, R. Merritt, T. Packer, W. Reid, C. Curtis, S. Liddell and C. Whiteman.
