Farmers" Co-op. Staff Dance at Feilding
Tho annual staff dance of the New Zoaland Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Company was held in tho Parish hall, Feilding, last week, when Mr. A. Coulson Fowler, general manager, extended a cordial welcome to tho large attendance representative of tho company’s interests throughout the province. Mrs. Fowler, as hostess, wore a smart frock of lovc-in-the-mist cloque with black velvet cape. Miss A. Ellcnn, the secretary of the dance organisation, was presented with a floral shoulder spray to match her dainty frock of Mexican roso taffeta, and was accorded a vote of thanks which was carried by acclamation. Modern and old-time dance numbers constituted the programme, Mr. J. G. Eliott being the M.C. Arrangements for the function, which included a buffet supper, were carried out by a committee comprising Mesdames W. S. Niccolls, bougainvillia taffeta; M. R. Lawrence, green georgette with bodice and hem of black silk velvet; S. Matthews, "black lace with gold spray; Avery, black otterman silk with gold spray; C. A. R. Loch, floral satin with coatee to match, A. C. Buist, sapphire bruo ring velvet with silver lame trimming; W. Thorburn, navy georgette and lace with cyclamen shoulder spray; W. M. Stewart, flame satin with posy to match; J. Gordon Eliott, black chiffon velvet with purple velvet coat; M. Andrews, gold lame with coatee to match; H. Delacey, maroon silk crepe with ring velvet coatee to match; W. Huthnance, nigger brown cloque; Misses A. Ellerm, Mexican rose taffeta with coatee to match; J. McDowall, midnight blue laco with silver spray; J. Waugh, floral green georgette; N. Mills, apple green net over taffeta. Members of the staff present were Messrs A. C. Buist, V. R. Lawrence, W. S.
