Miss Gwyneth Thompson, of Dannevirke, is on a visit to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Anderson, who were among Wairarapa visitors to Palmerston North for the Show last week, have returned homo after a brief stay with their daughter, Mrs. F. D. Lewis, of Feilding. Among visitors to Feilding for the celebrations in connection with the opening of the new Plunket building in Feilding were Mesdames Gray, R. VV. Haddow (Patea), H. D. Robertson (Wanganui), H. Paterson (Pahiatua) and Sunderland (Havelock North), all being members of the Dominion council. Among other visitors to Feilding for the occasion were Mesdames T. A. Duncan (Otaieri, Hunterville), S. Seivers and Miss # P. Seivers (Wanganui), Mesdames Peter Fraser (Wellington), and K. Richardson and Garner (Plimmerton), the latter two being members of the central towns branch, and the presidents and secrctaaries of the Wellington, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Marton, Sanson, Kiwitea, Kimbolton, Apiti, Colyton, and other branches of the Plunket Society. Miss E. Lynch, of Palmerston North, was the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. McCorkindale, Feilding, for the week-end. Miss M. Cranston, of Palmerston North, has received a radio station appointment in Wellington and will be leaving Palmerston North during the week. While a resident of the city she has been generous with her talents, being of great help to a number of institutions such as Grave Gay Players, Manawatu Women's Club drama circle, Little Theatre Society, British Drama League and Women's Institutes. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Buchanan and their little daughter, Margaret Anne, are spending their holiday iu Wellington as the guests of Mr and Mrs. J. Newport.
