Gathering o’ the Clans
An advertisement in this issue draws attention to the Manawatu Scottish Society’s fifth annual Gathering o’ the Clans, to be held in tho A. & P. hall, Cuba street, on Wednesday, July 0. ! This function will be the first major ball to bo held in the Entertainment hall under the new and improved facilities. A permanent sound-shell lias been constructed and this allows tho maximum of space available for dancing. An energetic committee already has the arrangements well in hand for this, annual event, and patrona can "be assured of an evening ’s entertainment second to none in the city. A profes-
sional orchestra of six players has been engaged and everything indicates that the fifth Gathering o’ the Clans will excel all previous functions of a similar nature.
