Farmers’ Co-op. Report LARGE OFFERING OF WETHERS The New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative Distributing Co., Ltd. report on tho Pahiatua weekly sale held on Tuesday: There was a large attendance of the public and Luyers wero present from Rangitikci, Manawatu, Southern Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki and local districts. Our share of the yarding comprised 3664 sheep, 40 head of dairy stock and 20 pigs, and with the exception of four pens of wethers there was a total clearance at ruling market rates. Some very choice wethers were yarded, and the top price realised was 27s 6d for a particularly nice pen of 4-tooths. Lambs sold particularly well, the top price paid for W.F. w. lambs in good forward condition being 19s Id. Good quality ewes made a good figure, while poorer ewes were somewhat neglected. The sale, at commencement, was very erratic on wethers, quito a number of pens being passed in at auction, but these were sold later iu the day.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. report on tho weekly sale held on Tuesday, when a good yarding of sheep came forward and met with good competition. Some very good lines of sheep came forward and, although competition was not up to expectations, vendors in most cases met the market and a good sale resulted. Lambs appreciated in value.
