London Wool Sales
The following advice has been received from London by the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Company, Ltd., Feilding:— "Wool sales closed to-day and prices compared with close of last series in the following order superior medium to good inferior to medium greasy Alerinos par to 5 per cent, up 5 per cent, up 5 per cent scoured Alerinos par par par to 5 cr cent down greasy crossbreds par par par scoured crossbreds par 7$ per cent, down 5 per cent down slipes 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, down 5 per cent, to 10 per cent down 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, down closing values in the following order superior medium to good inferior to medium greasy Alerinos \/o\ 1/7 1/- 1/3 9*d lljd. Scoured Merinos 1/8* 2/2} 1/5 3/8 1/- 1/4*. Greasy crossbreds 1/- 1/2* lOd 1/- 9d ll*d. Scoured crossbreds 1/5 2/1 10*d 1/3J 9d 1/1. Slipes 11 Ad 3/4 10Jd 1/1* S*d 1/1. Total sold 47,000 bales to home trado 25,000 bales to Continent 19,000 bales to America none carried forward 57,000 bales.”
