PURCHASES FROM BRITAIN ONI*Y United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copy righ t. RUGBY, May G. Riga messages state that the Latvian Post and Telegraph Department has decided to buy only British-built aeroplanes for the Latvian airways. The Department, which opened the country's first internal airway route from Riga and Liepaja last year with passenger aeroplanes supplied by the British de Havilland Aircraft Company, intends to extend its internal airways service to Daugavpils and other centres in the near future.
