FALTBOATING IN GERMANY
CONVERSATION with friends just back from Faltboating in Germany started us. I had thought a faltboat (folding boat) a sort of collapsible rubber bathtub, but our beautiful two-seater, 18 feet long and weighing only 50 pounds, was as trim as a yacht. Four inches of water floated it, yet it could safely ride waves and rapids. Folded, it fitted into what might be a golf bag.
