Despite the inclement weather there was a large gathering of players and spectators for the opening of the Regent Badminton Club (Levin) on .Saturday evening. Mr. Mackay, president, in extending a hearty welcome to visitors, said it was gratifying to see representatives from other clubs coming so fat afield as Masterton and Palmerston North, and it was more pleasing to have with them that evening the New Zealand champion, G.
