ATTEMPT TO SAVE ARABS AND JEWS, United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. HAIFA, April 11. Two British police sacrificed their lives in an attempt to save Arabs and Jews from death. Throe unknown persons threw two bombs among the crowd at a terminal station at Iraq pipe line. A sergeant and a constable dived at the bombs which exploded as they picked them up killing both and wounding a number of bystanders. A later message says the bombs killed five Arabs, including four police supernumeraries, and wounded seven Jews.
