Feilding’s building year which closed on March 31 last reveals that during the period permits were issued by the Borough Council for works totalling in value £38,539, which constitutes a record for this town. This figure docs not take into account the State houses erected in East street, nor the refrectory block and additional class rooms for the Feilding Agricultural High School, the cost of which would bring the total expended on building activity in Feilding for the past financial year to close upon £60,000.
