FEILDING CLUB’S COMPETITIOITo The Feilding Lawn Tennis Club’s competitions for the season have been completed. The following are the results of the competitions recently concluded:— Ladies’ A grade championship singles: Miss \V. Rob r *''*» beat Miss B. Eliott, 6—3, 6 —2; Mrs. A. Waldin beat Miss E. Robson, 6 —2, 6—l. Final: Mrs. Waldin beat Miss W. Robson, 6 —2, 6—l. Mixed handicap doubles.—Semifinals: Smith and Miss Z. Smith beat G. Darragh and Mrs. Darragh, 9 —B; IE Humphrey and Miss T. Carthew lost to F. Gover and Mrs. Caldwell, S —9. |Final: F. Gover and Mrs. Caldwell beat Smith and Mrs. Smith, 9—7. Ladies’ handicap doubles.—Semifinals: Mrs. Lawrence and Miss M. McLean beat Miss Carthew and Mrs. Darragh, 9—B; Mrs. Burrell and Miss Rutherford beat Misses Paynter aud Ellcrm, 9 —2. Final: Mrs. Burrell and Miss Rutherford beat Mrs. Lawrence and Miss McLean, 9 —4. Ladies’ handicap singles.—Semifinals: Miss A. Clark beat Miss E. Robson, 9 —7; Miss M. Carthew beat Mrs. Lawrence, 9—7. Final: Miss A. Clark beat Miss Carthew, 9—5.
