Unique Opportunity For Concert Lovers

Lovers of high-class entertainment will be interested to learn of the series of personality concerts shortly to be inaugurated in this city under the direction of Air. Frederie Shipman. The first concert is booked at the Opera House for April 4 when Howard Milholland, widely famed humorist and impersonator, and Eva Garcia, brilliant Spanish pianiste, will be associated in a fine programme. A wonderful opportunity is afforded those securing season tickets, but what will interest Palmerston North most concerns Alan Loveday, our wonder violinist. Mr. Shipman heard Alan play recently and was so delighted with his ability that he has offered to donate a share of each of the four concerts to tho fund to send Alan abroad to study. It is sincerely to be hoped that as a result of this offer • definite step forward will be able to be made with regard to Alan’s future.
