The Japanese are semi-officially sounding the attitude of the colony in tho event of an invasion of South China, to which they have augmented the flow of forces and warships, while new areas have been entrenched and fortified. LIMITATION TO PREVENT SPECULATION CHAOS IN BUSINESS SHANGHAI, March 14. Business has been thrown into chaos as a result of a Hankow decree to prevent speculation, limiting sales of foreign currency to the Chinese Central Bank at Hankow, thus eliminating Shanghai as the clearing house of the Far East. As a concession, a branch of the Central Bank is being established at Hong Kong.
