S. - McNaughton presiding over a good ' attendance. One candidate was initiated into the Order, one member accepted by clearance, and three candidates proposed for membership. V.G. Bro. L. Haynes reported on the visit to Loyal Manchester Lodge, a very enjoyable evening being spent by those , who made the trip. There were visitors from Loyal Wanganui, Sister Victoria, Ivimbolton and Foxton Lodges, it being the occasion of the installation of officers. The District Grand Master, : Bro. W. G. Nye, was also present. Sis. J. Wass presented a favourable sick report. During the evening several ’ competitions were held for the purpose of subsidising the intended trip to Wellington. A meeting of the social committee was set down for the purpose of arranging a programme for the I. year from the completion of the present - programme. Bro. W. Eyre, P.G.F.S.. reported on the visit paid to Wanganui t for a game of cricket for the Salek J Cup and the team was congratulated oil its success. After supper had been served the Test of the evening was taken up with social activities.
