Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited report on tbe Mangaweka sale held on Thursday last, when a good yarding of sheep was penned, comprising mainly lambs, with a few pens of good tour-ycar-old ewes, which sold under keen competition. A line of well-bred four-year-old ewes offered on account of the Pox estate, Kuahine, realised 30s. There was a good inquiry for ewe lambs, values being firm on the previous sale. However, there was a very slow sale for all classes of wether lambs, and although prices were back from Is 6d to 2s a head, vendors were prepared to meet the market, and practical a total clearance was effected. Quotations: Two tooth ewes 345, 4-th. ewes 295, 4-year ewes 30s, 5-year ewes 255, 6-year ewes 17s 6d to 20s, aged ewes 10s to 14s, good forward b.f. wether lambs 15s to 16s 6d, w.f. wether lambs 12s to 14s, small sorts from 7s, good ewe lambs 30s to 24s 6d, lighter sorts from 15s.
