Pharmacy Plan

PERSONNEL OP COMMITTEE Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 12. The personnel of the Pharmacy Plan Industrial Committee which will administer the plan prepared by the Bureal of Industry for retail pharmacies was announced to-day by the Hon. D. G. Sullivan—viz.. Messrs E. R. Myers (Health Department, Government nominee), D. W. Woodward (Department of Industries and Commerce and secretary of the Bureau of Industry, Government nominee), W. H. Stevens (managing director of Fluenzol Proprietary, Wellington, Government nominee, H. J. S. Rickard (Wellington, president of the Pharmacy Board), D. S. Dodds (Christchurch, a member of the Pharmacy Board). J. A. Race (managzer of the United Friendly Societies Dispen sary of Dunedin), G. S. Adams (Wellington Employees’ nominee). The initial meeting of the committee will be held in Wellington on Tuesday when consideration will be given to some urgent problems requiring immediate attention. The Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong said he was sure that wise administration of the plan would result in very widespread benefits, not only to the retail pharmacists themselves but to the community in general. In his opinion the committee consisted of persons who have the knowledge and capacity to achieve success in regard to the definite problems before it, and he had no doubt that success would attend their efforts.
