BOBERTS SCORES 214 IN A LITTLE OVER TWO HOURS Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Playing for Riccarton against St. Albans in the senior cricket competition yesterday, A. W. Roberts arid G. H. Stringer added 286 runs in an unbroken partnership for the second wicket. Batting for little over two hours Roberts, not out, made 214, his score including ten sixes and 24 fours. This is the highest individual score of tho season to date. Riccarton declared at 315 for one (Stringer not out 75), beating St. Albans, which scored 140.
