From Our Own Correspondent. Further Show Awards. Open, chop (12-inch block) for cup and cash prize: R. Kronast 1, S. Thompson 2, L. Thompson 3. Double handed sawing: L. and & Thompson 1, McKenzie Bros. 2, Kronast and Bielski 3. Single handed sawing: M. Lockyer 1, J. McKenzie 2, L Thompson 3. Maiden chop: C. Buekman 1, Me* Mutrie 2, Ellery 3. Weight-guessing competitions: Sheep 1651b5. (five tied). Lamb, weight 971b5., winner Mr N. Saywell. In the evening pictures were held after which the floor was cleared fot dancing which continued until the early hours of the morning. Music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs J. Carr and S. Moess. Mr J. Boshier was M.C. Tho results of the weight-guessing of the fat cow will be announced later, also the winner of the Young Farmers’ judging competition.
