Winds: Moderate to strong winds between south-west and south-east reaching gale force in places but decreasing gradually to-morrow. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough to rough generally but decreasing to-morrow, especially about the South Island. ( Eastern Tasman; Light to moderate southerly to south-easterly winds, slight to moderate seas. Weather: Cloudy to overcast in eastern districts and later in the far north with showers or misty rain at many places. Improving to-morrow, especially over the South Island. Temperatures cool.
