The Manawatu District Trades Council has decided to give a hearty welcome to Lieut. Tom Spiller, who is on a lecturing tour of New Zealand on behalf of the Spanish Medical Aid Committee at the railway station, Palmerston North, to-morrow. Mr. Spiller, who

is a resident of Napier and is a staunch trade unionist, has recently returned from Spain on leave. Mr. Spiller will speak on the “Truth About Spain” at the Regent Theatre to-morrow evening, and at district centres during next week.
