MANGAWEKA SALE The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report an entry of 2300 sheep, mostly lambs at the above sale on Thursday to a good attendance of buyers. The enquiry for all classes of lambs was exceptionally keen and an excellent sale resulted. We quote:— Best ewe Hambs, 22s 7d to 27s 6d; medium, 16s 6d to 17s lOd; small, 10s 6d to 12s 4d; best wether lambs, 15s 3d to 17s 4d; good medium, 13s to 14s 4d; small, 7s 8d to 9s 3d; small b.f. lambs, 9s lOd; 2 th ewes, medium, 27s to 295; 4 and 6 th. ewes, 28s; Syr. ewes, 24s to 24s 9d.
