Untimely Death
MR. REG. AUBREY PASSES AWAY Pahiatua residents regret the death of Mr. Reginald William Aubrey, which took place on Thursday night in the Pahiatua Public Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Aubrey, who had been In the employ of the stock department of the W.F.C.A. at Pahiatua for the past 11 months, was particularly welf known in farming circles, having previously been employed as a testing officer for the Bush Co-operative Herd-testing Association. Of a particularly fine physique which earned for him some recognition in the realm of sport, Mr. Aubrey was nevertheless unable to withstand the attack of pneumonia which brought about his untimely death. Thirty years of age, the late Mr. Aubrey came from Wanganui, where his father still lives. Of an exceptionally bright and cheerful disposition, he was very highly esteemed in Pahiatua, where Mrs. Aubrey (nee Miss Dean) resided some 17 years ago with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. R. Dean, of Wanganui. In addition to Mrs. Aubrey, deceased leaves a little son, aged about two years.
