From Our Own Correspondent. Mr Alan Sim has joined the crew of tne m.v. Huanui. Mrs M. Walker, Mrs M. Lenagh and Miss A. Hampson (Palmerston North), have taken Boniface’s house in Seabury avenue for a fortnight. Mr and Mrs A. Matthews and family, of Palmerston North, are spending a fortnight here and are located in Mr Hardie’s house. Mr W. Park, who injured his neck when he fell from a lorry several months ago, has again been an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment. Mr W. Hart has left for Nelson to spend an extended holiday. It is rumoured that the long over-due tar-sealing of the Beach road will be well under *way by Easter. A mean theft was perpetrated recently, when a large number of cabbages were removed from the garden of an elderly Maori woman during her absence.
