From Our Own Correspondent Master Tonks, of Wellington, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs H. E. Hocken. Messrs J. and L. Thurston have returned home after a holiday in the North Auckland district. Mrs Gordon McVicar and Master Don McVicar have returned home after a holiday spent in Wellington a-s the guests of Mrs J. C. Riddell, Lyall Bay. Mr Desmond Thurston has left for the Training College, Wellington. The friends of Mrs N. O. Hansen will he pleased to learn that she is now making satisfactory progress after her recent opei-ation in a Wellington hospital.
