Seven Persons Still Missing
SYDNEY HARBOUR DISASTER United Press Association—By S 3 sc trie ToUaraph.—Copyright Received Wednesday, 11 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 16. The police to-day began dragging the harbour in the vicinity of the scene of Sunday’s harbour disaster, but with no success. Seven persons, mostly females, are still missing. The body of the twelfth victim has been identified as Ellen Holland, aged 26.
The Lord Mayor has launched a joint appeal for the relic* of sufferers in the launch disaster and the Bondi surf tragedy, when five persons were drowned. Any balance will be devoted to the purchase of a plaque for the cruiser Louisville to commemorate the rescue work of her officers and crew.
