Window Draperies.

New furnishings as well as new frocks are ox interest to women just now, and designers are producing some charming effects in window decorations. One of the prettiest schemes for a bedroom calls for net and printed satin. In the specimen room the net used is palest pink, and the satin ice-blue with a star pattern women into it, pink and blue being the general colour scheme of the room. The net hangs close to the window, and the satin is draped above it from a nar- ! row shelf, the drapery being drawn to one side where it is held by a garland of silk flowers. • To give the finishing touch there is a looped satin pelmet' drawn through plaster rings.
