MAKING CO-OPERATION EFFECTIVE.

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. 11.

At a meeting of the Internationa. Shipping Conference in London assur-

ances were given that arrangements were being made in the different countries concerned to make international freight co-operation effective and to prevent infringements of the scheme o t voluntary co-operation in the shipping industry.

It was agreed that international cooperation should continue on the basis tramp and liner owners, as interpreted by an explanatory memorandum sub mitted to a meeting in December.
