From Our Own CorresnocdenL Hall Committee. There was a fair attendance at the meeHng of the hall committee last week. Mr W. Anderson presiding. A deputation from the local Rifle Club waited on the committee, asking permission to alter the ®**Mlng range. After considerable discussion U was agreed that a special raeetshould be called to consider the question. At the special meeting held on Thursday evening no Anal decision was reached and a further meeting will be called to finalise the question. Miss E. Hey has resigned her position as assistant at the school. Miss R. Stewart being appointed relieving assistant. Euchre and Darce. The Tennis Club held another euchre party and dance on Saturday last, there being a fair attendance. Mrs Gosling Sen., annexed the prize in the ladies’ section, and Messrs W. Gosling Sen., and W. Gosling Jun., had to cut-off for the men’s trophy, the former winning the cut. The consolation winners were Mrs R. Scott and Mr L. Craven. After supper dancing wu hold.
