American Tennis Stars in Australia

BUDGE AND MAKO ARRIVE Received Monday, 10.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 29. The visiting tennis players, Budge and Mako, who arrived by the Monterey to-day, said they were looking forward to playing on Australian courts under Australian conditions. Both expressed preparedness to play more matches than the itinerary provided, as it was lighter than they expected. Budge was surprised that there was some doubt about the Australians participating in the next Davis Cup. He said he regarded the Australians as their most dangerous rivals and it would be a pity if they were not challenged.
