Kowhai Rebekah Lodge
PRESENTATION TO SISTER WALLIS Members of the Kowhai Itcbekah Lodge, Feilding, made a presentation of a handsome chromium clock to P.N.G. Sister Wallis, one of tho charter members, who is shortly leaving Feilding to take up her residence in Napier. P.N.G. Sister Mathesou, also a charter member, made tho presentation, and her remarks w r ere interesting in that they explained the initiation of the Kowhai Lodge in March, 1921. Mrs. Wallis was accorded musical honours, after which she acknowledged the sentiments expressed, and stated that she was sorry to leave Feilding. Mr. C. Johnson entertained tho company with two songs, while Mr. L. Haycock gave a humorous sketch and led the company ! in a community sing. A competition arranged by Sister A. Feekin, was won by P.N.G. Sister J. Knight, with Mr. Milner second. Another competition, arranged by P.N.G. Sister S. Guy, was won by Sister Feekin. The music for the dancing and singing was supplied by P.N.G. At tho fortnightly meeting of the •Lodge, N.G. Sister J. Johnson presided and two new members were proposed.
