Makino Social Notes

Mr. and Mrs. W. Huston, of Lyttelton, who are touring the North Island, are at present staying with Mrs. A. Beazer, of Makino. Miss Monkhouse, of W ellington, is on a visit to Mrs. N. Moray, of Makino.

Miss Gwen Reid, of Makino, who has been visiting her parents in Morrinsville, has returned home. Miss Joan Bates, of Wanganui, nas returned to her home after a visit to Mrs. P. R. Simpson, of Makino, who also has staying with her Mrs. F. J. Reid, of Lower Ilutt. Duncan Mitchell, son of Mr. E. Mitchell, of Makino, met with a painful accident through a fall from his bicycle on the Colyton road. He is now in hospital and is progressing favourably.
