FIRST ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP The first annual championship of the club was decided last Saturday, when D. I. Rowland took the score to 7 —3, and Robertson ran out at 9 —4. In the second game Robertson went to 3 —o and 7 —2, again winning at 9 —4. Rowlands took the first point in the third game, and Robertson the next three. Rowlands drew equal at 3—3, but Robertson again forged ahead to 6—3. Rowlands took the next two points, and then Robertson took the last. three for set and match.
