Auckland Bomb Outrage

FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS PROCEEDING Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A further step in the police investigations into the bomb explosion in which Mr. R. A. Singer was injured last Friday was taken when Mr. R. Girling Butcher, Chief Inspector of Explosives, conferred with detectives. In the morning Mr. Girling Butcher visited Mr. Singer’s residence in Grafton road where a thorough inspection of the immediate precincts of the explosion was made. When interviewed Mr Girling Butcher said he was unable to make an official statement at the present stage as he would have to give the matter thorough consideration. The investigations made were only part of tho general investigations which are being pursued by the police.
