DUTCH SCIENTIST’S RISKY JOB. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Thursday, 11 p.m. BRISBANE, July 15. The prominent volcanologist, Doctor E. Stehn, who has been lent to the Commonwealth Government by the Netherlands East Indies Government to examine the volcanoes at Rabaul, arrived to-day en route to New Guinea. When he arrives at Rabaul he will don a gas mask and descend the Vulcan and Matupi craters. He will report as to whether Rabaul should be suitable as the future capital.
